July Highlights: warm at West, unsettled at East

A very strange July is about to begin at most parts of Europe. Heatwaves are about to battle West Europe, while a High Risk of severe weather is possitioned across East Europe. Analysis:. Spain , Portugal, France , UK , Germany and Italy, are about to face temperatures well above normal, with the Risk of Heatwave High. The most favourable conditions for an Extreme Heatwave are located at Spain, France and part’s of central Europe. High blocking ridge will spread across these regions, and this ridge will drive heat direct from Africa. Finally, drier than normal conditions are expected to all above parts. It must be told although that We cannot rule out few severe thunderstorms due to heatting. Further east, the ridge that mentioned above, will bring rounds of unsettled weather at most parts of Balkan peninsula and Hellas. All these areas are under high risk of severe thunderstorms threat, thunderstorms driven by diurnal heating at Day and they will develop across most mainland parts of Balkans. Thunderstorms will begin from higher elevations and will spread at sea-level areas during afternoon. Finally, at extreme north Europe, a well organized low pressure system will bring rounds of beneficial rain and chilly weather.
